A MESSAGE FROM OUR RACE COMMITTEE
Welcome to the 26th Four Villages Half Marathon. On behalf of Helsby Running Club we extend a warm welcome to all runners for this years race. Whether this is your first attempt at the distance, or a seasoned veteran, the Shell Four Villages Half Marathon will appeal to all. This scenic and fast race is backed up by excellent organisation and is one of the premier road races in the U.K.

The scenic course starts and finishes in Helsby, and passes along quiet country lanes and roads passing through the attractive villages of Dunham on the Hill, Mouldsworth and Manley before returning to Helsby.

The race is regularly over subscribed and sadly to say late entries do get returned. Prospective contestants are therefore urged to enter promptly. Apart from producing a quality race that so many of you enjoy judging by the numbers that enter each year, we are fortunate to be able to give substantial donations to local charities and worthy causes.

We also produce a comprehensive results booklet, which will be issued free to all finishers.

It is important to note that the finish funnels lead into a residential area. Please ensure that when you finish the race you make your way straight back to the clubhouse where refreshments will be available.
